Tersane Creek, Tersane Adası, Skopea Limanı, south coast of Turkey

N36°40.53 E028°54.85
(September 2009)

This was the first time we’d come across the orange bollards (and mooring rings) common in the area. In Göcek town we saw information signs stating that if you moored to trees you would be fined.

Anchored and tied back on the west side. Holding and shelter good. On first glance this seems like a very busy tight spot and we nearly turned away at the entrance. Actually, there were several spaces and room to turn around at the head if there really wasn’t any room. This is a gulet stop on their ‘12 islands’ tours but most only stay for about half an hour. There is a restaurant pontoon at the head of the creek. A popular and pleasant spot.
